Jura Impressa C5 Super-Automatic Espresso & Capuccino Machine Refurbished

This listing is for a refurbished Jura Impressa C5 (Model 13531) super automatic, bean-to-cup, espresso/cappuccino machine and includes a User Manual, and Water Filter. The machine is in excellent cosmetic, mechanical and electrical condition. There are a few very surface scratches (please see the attached pictures) from normal use. There is a hairline crack in the top front bezel that has been welded and is hard to see (please see last picture). The Jura C5 represents the best from our favorite Swiss engineers.

Its timeless design and elegance combines with legendary performance and reliability to make for a great machine. Full strength coffee, ease of use and simplicity. You can easily make coffee, espresso and cappuccino with the included standard frother.

This machine has been completely refurbished. Top Enclosure Panel replaced with new Jura OEM part.

Coffee Spout Assembly (Guide, Chrome Accent) replaced with new Jura OEM parts. Bean Container Cover replaced with new OEM part. Thermoblock Outlet Valve replaced with new Jura OEM part. Extensively cleaned inside and out (See pictures).

Brew Group disassembled, cleaned, new seals, o-rings installed, reassembled. Disassembled, cleaned, new seals, o-rings installed, reassembled. Key rubber seals, o-rings, and gaskets replaced.

Grinder disassembled, cleaned, reassembled and re-calibrated. Exterior stainless steel drip tray grid refinished to remove scratches and restore luster. Machine has also been Descaled. Please see the attached pictures to get an indication of how clean the instrument is and the extent of the refurbishing. Tested and fully functional of course!

Refurbished using the following procedures. Disassemble, clean, and sanitize the encl osure. Disassemble brew group and drainage valve, clean & sanitize, before reassembling with a complete set of Jura OEM o-rings & seals. Descale the machne including the thermal block, and all parts of the water/coffee flow path including water tubing, flow sensor heat exchanger and valves. Completely disassemble and descale the coffee dispensing spout.

Clean and sanitize all parts. Disassemble the steam valve, clean all internal parts verify proper steam and hot water dispensing. Disassemble the thermoblock outlet valve, clean internal parts, lubricate, replace pin. Check grinder burrs for wear, sharpen/recondition or replace. Reassemble machine and pull espresso shot, check the coffee puck including shape and dryness to confirm a successful refurbishment.

You may notice some coffee in the machine when you get it. This is normal because it is necessary to test the machine by pulling a few shots, so there will be some leftover grounds and a little water. Also you might want to discard the first couple of shots, as Jura recommends. Please let me know if you have questions.
