Gaggia Coffee Espresso Machine with Upgrades
Gaggia Coffee Espresso Machine w/ Upgrades. This machine is built to last with a heavy gauge steel body and metal parts throughout. All metal Ulka vibratory pump. Includes brew path features comparable to a Silvia or newer Classic Pro. Adjustable OPV, 3 way valve solenoid and large capacity boiler.
Upgrades include PID temperature controller for regulating brew temperature with custom enclosure (will also include the original tank fill piece it replaced), momentary pump interrupt button for pre-infusion, modified bottomless portafilter, IMS Precision shower screen, and Silvia articulating steam wand with interchangeable single hole tip. The steam wand prevents the water tank from completely coming out but its still easy to refill. There is some surface rust under the drip tray and the paint is a little melted around the group but these are not noticeable sitting on the counter. No leaks, I replaced all of the o-rings and cleaned the boiler earlier this year.
OPV is set to 9 bar and PID display is offset to indicate brew temperature. Everything is ready to make delicious espresso.
